Miracle Kid
Hunter enjoyed great success at his very first field trial, placing at 6 months in a competitive derby field of 15 dogs. Two days later, he was in ICU after cardiac arrest fighting for his life. He and Hawk had dug up a lily bulb and eaten part of it. After 2 weeks we were so blessed to bring our miracle kid home. We had been warned he may never fully recover, but he did. Will admit he is spoiled. He is the happiest, most dramatic dog we have ever had in our house and we dearly love every one of his happy shenanigans.
Field Trials
After physically recovering, Hunter has done very well in trials, placing in 11 events. 5 of those were "broke dog" major stakes.
With little exposure to trials prior to age 2 1/2, he has been impressing judges with his forward run, stylish points and enthusiasm. Hunter has a bright future.
